Aidan is a fourth-generation resident of Greene County, Paramedic and a Greene County Legislator, now running to bring fresh leadership and a voice into the state majority for the first time in over 30 years. In a district that people said was written off years ago, Aidan came less than 1% of reclaiming the district for the people of the 102nd in the 2018 special election. He's trusted. He's dedicated. And he'll deliver results to residents of the 102nd.
A Trusted Greene County Local
Aidan has called Greene County his home since his childhood. While still a student at Greenville High School, Aidan followed his parents footsteps in the healthcare field and began volunteering for the Greenville Rescue Squad. He quickly fell in love with emergency medical services, and after high school graduation earned his paramedic certification through SUNY Cobleskill at just twenty years old.
A Dedicated First Responder
Aidan has provided emergency medicine to thousands of patients as a Paramedic in every county of the 102nd district. Most recently as a critical-care Flight Paramedic with the LifeNet of NY helicopter team and currently serves as one of the managers of the organization. Aidan continues to give back to the first responder community by teaching first responder classes at SUNY Cobleskill and CPR as a American Heart Association Instructor.
A Leader who gets Results
As president of the Board for the Greene County Paramedics, Aidan ensured that town and county budget contracts saw no increases, even as new lifesaving equipment and medications were introduced.
As co-chair of the Greene County Ambulance Task Force and New York State Advocacy Coordinator for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, Aidan has worked across party lines in Greene County, Albany and Washington, D.C. advocating for programs and legislation that improves patient outcomes while supporting medical first responders.
As Greene County Legislator and Chairman of the Health Services Committee, Aidan has spearheaded a program that has placed more than 25 AED's throughout our communities and extended services and programs to fight the opioid epidemic. Notably, under his leadership they have successfully moved Greene County from 60th (almost dead last) to 47th in the state in overall health outcomes.
Your Next District 102 Assembly Member
Aidan will be the first paramedic elected to the NY State Assembly in history. In Aidan's lifetime, this region has not had a representative in the majority to bring our hard earned tax dollars back to our district. Through energy, leadership, and service, and with your help, Aidan will continue to work to make Upstate NY the best it can be!
